Long Island Fight for Charity

Founded in 2003 by Jeff Cohen, Matt Silver and Jamie Austin, the Long Island Fight for Charity, the nation’s only all-volunteer charity boxing event, is one of Long Island’s largest and most anticipated annual charity fundraising networking events. Local men and women from the business and not-for-profit communities square off in a boxing ring for charity each November. Nearly 500 men and women have earned the title of LIFFC Alumni Boxer and over $1.85 million has been raised for charities, including Long Island Community Chest, Genesis School and more. Over 1,200 people attend the event each year and more than 30 local restaurants and beverage companies support this event.
